Those are my turkeys!

I love fall because it is the season of gratitude. In fact, my favorite pumpkin that sits in my dining room says – Give Thanks! (It was a great Target score a few years ago) So during this Thanksgiving week, let’s give thanks!

I am personally thankful for my husband and 3 sons who keep my days and nights busy and filled with so much love! I am thankful for my TV journalism career that led me to be able to build my PR business and have the flexibility to be present for my family when I choose to be! I am thankful for my amazing team who I get to learn from every day! I am thankful for our clients who put their trust in us. I am thankful for our freedoms. I’m a bit passionate about our freedom of speech 🙂 I am truly thankful for a lifestyle where I can fulfill my dreams as an entrepreneur while having time for my family. It leads to a lot of long days, but that means I am living!

I’ll leave you with one of my favorite poems.

I Am Thankful For
by Nancy J Carmody

I am thankful for

…..the mess to clean up after a party

because it means I have been surrounded by friends.

…..the taxes that I pay

because it means that I’m employed.

…..the clothes that fit a little too snug

because it means I have enough to eat.

…..my shadow who watches me work

because it means I am out in the sunshine.

…..the spot I find at the far end of the parking lot

because it means I am capable of walking.

…..all the complaining I hear about our Government

because it means we have freedom of speech.

…..that lady behind me in church who sings offkey

because it means that I can hear.

…..lawn that needs mowing, windows that need cleaning, and gutters that need fixing

because it means I have a home.

…..my huge heating bill

because it means that I am warm.

…..weariness and aching muscles at the end of the day

because it means that I have been productive.

…..the alarm that goes off in the early morning hours

because it means that I am alive.
